This website was created for you, the leaders, volunteers and parents, in Southwest Naperville. The Service Unit Managers wanted a place for you to have all of our local resources in one place regarding Girl Scouts. This site should also be a place where you come to get your questions answered, find and share ideas for your troop, and to keep abreast of what is happening in our area!
This is not to replace our extremely important monthly Service Unit meetings where we discuss more detailed information that can impact your troop(s) and also share ideas with one another. These face-to-face meetings are imperative to having a highly successful Girl Scouting experience!
Please take a few minutes to explore our site and don't forget to check back frequently as we will be adding new content, helpful hints, and other features to help you keep up with the Girl Scouting experience.
Our Service Unit is part of the Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana Girl Scout council. We are comprised of 4 schools in Naperville including: Bethany Lutheran, Kingsley, Maplebrook and River Woods. The Service Unit holds a monthly leader's meeting to update the leaders on events, activities and important information regarding our area in Girl Scouts. It is also a chance for leaders to network, share and get new ideas from other leaders.
At our monthly meetings, we will highlight Naperville troops making a difference, pass along pertinent information all leaders need to know, and help answer any questions or solve any problems you may have as a leader. Attendance at meetings are a must if you want to keep abreast of what is happening in Girl Scouts and in our area.
Our Service Unit is comprised of the Service Unit Manager(s), School Membership Consultants and Organizers and numerous positions that help keep our area running. You can volunteer for a position or see what they all under the Service Unit DIrectory tab.
